Ocean Hotel Guangzhou - Free Shuttle Bus to Canton Fair, Tao Jin railway station

The location was a short walk from the Taojin Line 5 metro station making it convenient to get around quickly to many places of interest. There are restaurants and shops right next to the hotel and also within walking distance on a very busy street with various choices. The breakfast was very good with a variety of foods to choose from. Kudos to the chef! The dining area is on the 27th floor overlooking the city landscape. It is bright and cheerful. Housekeeping always arrived while I was having breakfast. My room was thoroughly cleaned every day, water and coffee replenished. Exceptional Housekeeping staff! The Front Desk was businesslike and accommodating when I asked a question. English was somewhat limited but we communicated enough to understand each other. The Ocean Hotel is definitely worth staying at. I enjoyed my four days there very much!

Spacious and clean rooms with good amenities. The gym and laundry room facilities were fantastic.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and well maintained room with good supply of daily amenities. Though a little bit off the city center but location was OK next to a main road and 5 minutes walk from Taojin Metro. There were good options for food and shops at the MRT area and also nearby the hotel. Next to the hotel was an ATM with Visa service. My stay was a memorable one and an excellent value for money.

The staff at one of the restaurants went out of their way to ensure tasty food was prepared for my son who has food allergies. Better than any other hotel during our trip. Generally friendly staff and the yum cha restaurant was good as well. They also provide water bottles in reception in addition to what's in your room which is excellent for travellers unused to the heat!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating with good knowledge of English, unlike some other hotels we stayed at in China. The breakfast buffet was great with various options for vegetarians and foreigners who are not used to Chinese cuisine.
